By accessing or using WhoAreThey.ai ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

WhoAreThey.ai provides AI-powered face search, username scanning, and social profile discovery tools. The Service allows users to upload images and search for matching profiles across publicly available sources.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • One person may not maintain more than one account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Harass, stalk, or intimidate any person
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringe on the privacy rights of others
  • Upload images of minors
  • Use results for employment screening or tenant screening without consent
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or abuse the Service
  • Resell or redistribute search results commercially

5. Credits & Payments

  • The Service operates on a credit-based system.
  • Credits are purchased through Stripe and are non-refundable once used.
  • Unused credits do not expire.
  • We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by WhoAreThey.ai and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of images you upload but grant us a limited license to process them for providing the Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of search results. Results are derived from publicly available information and may not be current or accurate.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WhoAreThey.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
